Delete your Mint Account easily using your web-browser

You can delete your Mint Account using your web-browser. The steps you need to take to delete your Mint Account are as follows:

METHOD #1

  1. Log in to your Mint.com Account on your browser using your user-name and password.
  2. Click on “Setting” from the Top Menu.
  3. Click on “Intuit Account” option in the vertical left menu on the Settings page.
  4. You will find the “Data & Privacy” section in the left-side of the screen. You will find the option to “Delete your Intuit Data” in this section. Click on the “Continue” button provided against the same.
  5. You now have to confirm your delete request by clicking on “Make a delete request”.
  6. In the next screen, you will be asked if you are logged in to the correct account. Okay it and click on “Continue”.
  7. The next screen will be to select the data you want to delete which in your case is your Mint Account. Select it and click on “Continue”.
  8. The last screen will provide you information regarding the updates, cancellation request timeline, etc. You should read it carefully and if everything is okay, click on “Done”.

The other method of deleting Mint.com account using web-browser is as follows:

METHOD #2

  1. Log in to your Mint.com Account on your browser using your user-name and password.
  2. Click on “Settings” from the Top Menu.
  3. Click on “Sign-in & Security” option in the vertical left menu on the Settings page.
  4. On the “Sign-in & Security” page, you will find “Delete your Mint Account” option. Click on it.
  5. In the next screen, confirm your delete request by click on “YES, delete my Mint Account”.
  6. You have successfully placed the request to delete your Mint Account. You Mint Account including all financial data associated with your account will be deleted in 4-6 days.

How to delete your Mint Account securely

There is one more method by which you can delete your Mint Account in a safe & secure way. By safe & secure, I mean that all your financial data including your card details, bank account details, etc. which you have stored in your Mint Account must be deleted before deleting your Mint Account. It is always better to be safe than sorry, right? For those who have not stored any financial information, you can ignore this method.

METHOD #3

  1. Log in to your Mint.com Account on your browser using your user-name and password.
  2. Click on “Accounts” from the Top Menu. All the accounts that you have added in your Mint Account will be visible.
  3. Click on “Delete” button provided against each account. After clicking on “Delete” button, a message asking for your confirmation will pop up. Click on the “Delete” button to confirm your delete request.
  4. After all the stored accounts are deleted, your Mint Account will be re-set.
  5. Now, click on “Profile” from the Top Menu.
  6. On the “Profile” page, you will find the list of all devices that you use to access your Mint Account. Deactivate them by clicking on “Deactivate” option against each device.
  7. Now, you have to click on “Delete your Mint Account” option in the Profile Page.
  8. Click on “Yes, delete my account” to confirm your delete request.
  9. You have to enter your password again to verify your account ownership.
  10. You will receive a pop-up message confirming that your account is deleted.
  11. You will receive email with confirmation in 48 hours.
